Giving the Advice that I Use to Travel, As a 19 Year-Old University Student
Loving geography and connecting with other cultures, I made it my goal to travel as much as possible as a kid. Now, as an adult who’s studying full-time, and working part-time as well, it’s hard to find the funds to put aside to travel while also being able to pay my living expenses. When I discovered credit card points as a means to travel, it was a complete game changer. My girlfriend and I have funded 6 different trips entirely off of credit card credits and points, ranging from Japan to Italy to Peru! Loving travel so much, and seeing so many of my friends scared and confused by credit, I wanted to create a place to give consistent advice for how students who are just starting out can take advantage of the points system to make the most out of their money.
What We Do Different
- Most points based websites give advice with the assumption that you already have a stable job, established credit, and the ability to travel flexibly. As young adults and students, we may not have all of these, but it doesn’t mean we are locked out!
- Here I’ve accumulated hundreds of hours of knowledge in order to summarize the complex world of points, and make it accessible to us just starting out!
